Summerlin Parkway Crash Leaves Motorcyclist Dead After Sunday Night Crash
Nevada Highway Patrol are investigating a crash that involved a motorcycle and a sedan Sunday night.
The accident happened at 9:49 p.m. on Summerlin Parkway near Durango Road.
It is believed that the motorcycle and sedan collided in some way but are still investigating.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Authorities said the man riding the motorcycle has passed away from his injuries.
Motorcycle accidents are becoming more common in Nevada and in the summer months more people are out riding while the weather is nice can lead to more motorcycle related accidents. Make sure as a driver you are aware of the motorcyclist around you on the roadway. Keep your distance while driving near a motorcyclist and always be aware of what they are doing.
