Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash at Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue
A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue in east Las Vegas on the evening of Monday, September 14, 2026. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene just after 8:45 p.m.
According to reports, the collision occurred at the intersection of North Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue. Police confirmed that a pedestrian died as a result of the crash.
Following the incident, authorities shut down Nellis Boulevard between Stewart Avenue and Charleston Boulevard to conduct their investigation and clear the scene.
No information was released regarding the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run or the driver who fled the scene. Police did not provide additional details about the circumstances leading up to the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
