East Valley Crash Leaves One Dead At Lamb And Washington
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to a fatal crash at Lamb and Washington yesterday at 2:23 p.m.
According to police two vehicles and a 2007 Yamaha Y2F-R6 motorcycle were involved in a crash that left one dead. A 2012 Jeep Patriot and 2012 Toyota Camry were the vehicles that were involved in the east valley crash.
Metro said evidence showed that the motorcycle was heading north on Lamb in the southbound lanes. The Jeep in the shared center lane was turning left into a private driveway on the west side of Lamb when the motorcycle collided with the Jeep. The motorcycle after colliding with the Jeep was overturned and then hit the Toyota.
According to police, first responders determined that the rider of the motorcycle was beyond lifesaving measures and pronounced dead at the scene. Both of the other drovers remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
This is the 55th traffic related fatality in the LVMPD’s jurisdiction so far this year.
